Iron Diary Privacy Policy
What we collect
Nothing on our servers — because there are no servers. We don't operate a backend that receives or stores your data.
What you put into Iron Diary
Workouts, exercises, sets, reps, weights, distances, run routes (GPS), body weight, body measurements, and notes are all saved in your device's local storage. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly export it.
Location and GPS
Run tracking uses your device's GPS while a run is in progress. Coordinates are recorded locally to compute distance and pace and are saved in your workout log on your device. They are never transmitted to us or to any third party. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings.
Backup and restore
You can export your data as a JSON file via Settings → Export. The file is generated on your device. We do not see, store, or process this file — you decide where it goes (email, iCloud Drive, etc.). When you import a file, it is read on your device and merged into your local storage.
Analytics, tracking, advertising
None. There are no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting services, no tracking pixels, and no ads in Iron Diary.
Children
Iron Diary is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data — including from children — because we do not collect data at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If Iron Diary ever starts collecting data (we don't intend to), it will be clearly disclosed in-app before any data leaves your device.
